Our Founder & Stunt Woman Catherine Peck Talks Stunts, Stick-On Bras, Hair Extensions, and Why She Started Undercover Glamour with Andrea on Lotus on Air
When people ask me, “OMG, what’s your biggest stunt?” I usually give something juicy — maybe falling off a man-made ice wall and doing a back somersault, or surviving the water rapids in Jurassic while being chased by an imaginary dinosaur! But the honest answer is — it’s juggling a career as a stunt woman, running a business and a home, and making sure women have access to all our confidence-enhancing solutions.
I recently did my first-ever interview with Lotus on Air, and we covered it all — how I got into stunts, joining the British Stunt Register, and why I started Undercover Glamour.
How I Got Into Stunts
It all started when I was working as a model in the film Rush and thought, “I should definitely be horse-riding in movies!” This started my enquiry — I called the Dents and sent my over my CV, hoping to land a riding job. I was told it didn't quite work like that, and my best route was to join the British Stunt Register.
At first glance, it looked easy — haha! But halfway through, I realised just how hard it would be to reach the level required to pass the trampolining test. I persevered, training relentlessly (as anyone who has made the British Stunt Register will know). I eventually got accepted onto the British Stunt Register in 2018, which was a huge milestone for me. This ultimately changed my life, opening the door to a world of opportunities in the film and TV industry.
From Modelling to Undercover Glamour
Before stunt work, I was modelling. And trust me, I learned a lot about “secret hacks” to look flawless on camera. Invisible support, padding, clip in hair extensions and wardrobe tricks — these are the kinds of things most women never get told back in 2009!
I wanted to bring those tricks of the trade out into the open. That’s how Undercover Glamour started. It’s about giving women tools I used in my career to feel confident, supported, and actually comfortable — whether you’re performing stunts, modelling, or just living your life.
Stick-On Bras That Do More Than Look Pretty
Our stick-on bras aren’t just about looking good under a dress. I use them on shoots and on stunt sets. They give invisible support and have even worked as stunt pads for my elbows, shoulders, and knees when my outfit doesn’t allow for my bigger, more bulky stunt pads.
One common misconception about stunts is that they’re reckless — but really, they’re all about preparation, knowing what you and your team are capable of, and learning every trick to stay safe. And yes, sometimes that means using things you’d never expect… like stick-on bra cups as stunt pads!
Bringing the Tricks of the Trade to Women
Everything I do with Undercover Glamour comes from experience. I wanted women to have access to the little-known hacks I learned over years of modelling and stunt work. Invisible bras, hair extensions, wardrobe tricks — it’s all part of the Undercover Glamour passion in helping women feel confident, comfortable and prepared.
