Recreating the Perfectly Messy French Plait
1st Feb 2016
Start by washing and blow-drying your hair with a volume shampoo and conditioner to help create a fabulous style for this special occasion. Then add a texturizing blow-dry serum to a strong, non-stick hairspray.
Now loosely curl your hair, but remember this doesn’t have to be perfect! Shake it all out, run your fingers through it and hair spray all over.
Back comb your top crown section and then smooth over to create a bouffant effect. Pull all hair to one side and do a loose plait leaving a fringe or loose bits of hair out as desired.
If you want your hair to look a lot thicker add clip in hair extensions. Catherine wore her Undercover Glamour clip in hair extensions for the fashion shoot, pic below.
Then grab anywhere within the plait and pull and tease it to look a bit messy.
Spray into place and you are ready to party!

Hair Stylist, Hayley's easy tips for having fabulous hair this Valentine’s Day.
1. When curling hair with hair straighteners, turn them towards the root of your hair so your thumb is facing the floor. Then turn it back so your thumb is facing the ceiling.
2. If you curled your hair the day before and you’ve slept on it, turn you head upside down, shake you hair and spray with hairspray to help recreate your curls.
3. If you have our clip-in hair extensions and you have had them for a long time, and want them to look new, try a Moroccan oil treatment and leave it on the hair overnight. Then in the morning, wash and blow dry the extensions, and they will look as good as new.
4. Back combing your whole hair before you put it in a ponytail or a bun will give you extra volume a make your hair look like more than just an everyday ponytail.
