How to feel and look glamorous for Jan

Our company founder and stunt performer, Catherine Peck shares her 5 top tips for how to stay feeling and looking great this month, and also shares what is new.
1. Hair Extensions
Do you have fine and thin hair, like me, and love instantly making your hair thicker for nights out? Or maybe you love your hair but you like changing your hair style and having a change?

I have very fine and thin hair, so I love adding hair extensions to add thickness to my own hair, this has been my favourite beauty secret for glamming up my look since 2004! Simply by adding my hair extensions I feel it takes years of my looks and I love the feeling of having beautiful long, thick hair. I have been creating clip in hair extensions for you (and myself of course), since 2009 and I love the way I can change my hair style and look by wearing different colours i.e., I can wear colour no.4, colour no.18/4 and colour no.2/6 all blending with my own hair. Maybe you are blessed with beautifully thick hair already and you don’t need to add hair extensions for thickness or length and are happy with your hair. You might still want to change your look for something different by instantly adding some highlights or colour to your hair with our clip in hair streaks like Isabelle is wearing in the picture below.
2. Get a tan
Do you feel better when you have a tan? I definitely do and I feel most people do as well! If you haven’t been able to start the year off by being able to get away and get a real tan, then maybe treat yourself to a spray tan or self-tan. I always feel more confident when I have a tan as I feel I look healthier and then this just seems to make me feel better about myself.
3. Enjoy working out
Feeling healthy is bound to make you feel better about yourself. If you feel good about yourself and body you are going to feel more confident and that in itself is going to make you feel and look more glamourous. I love working out, training, and running as I have made all of these things into social events. For example, by joining a running club I never want to miss out on the training sessions and the races as it is also my social life, so even if I don't feel like going, I still go as I want to see my friends, and then once you are there it is fine, and you always feel so good after. I feel the key thing, if you struggle with motivation to work out and keep healthy, is to find something you enjoy and then make it a social event so you are accountable for showing up.
4. Nails
Do you feel better when your nails are freshly manicured? I do! I always feel so much smarter and like my life is in order when I have freshly painted nails, my favourite colour is bright pink. When my nails are looking perfect, I feel my life is perfect! I personally can't have gel nails because of my work as a stunt performer as I need to be ready to play stunt doubling roles, but I still enjoy having nice and neat looking nails.
5. Dress up – make an effort
I think everyone will agree you always feel better when you have made an effort by putting on some makeup, wearing an outfit you like and feeling like your hair is on point. Just by dressing well you can instantly make your day go better! We are on hand to help as you know with our lingerie accessories that help open up your wardrobe choices.
