How to enhance your look for your Wedding Day

For many women, the day they tie the knot is the biggest day of their life. Looking fabulous on your wedding day is as much about looking incredible as feeling spectacular.

There are many ways that you can make yourself look and feel beautiful and one of the most important features is your hair.  Whether short or long, it is worth investing in a professional hair stylist.  Whilst many women have become experts at fashioning their own hair, a professional will be able to immaculately style hair-dos which are elaborate or difficult to create yourself.  If you are not blessed with naturally thick hair one of the best ways to make your hair look perfect is to use clip in hair extensions.

Secondly, makeup is really important for making you feel special and look amazing in your photos. Before your big day, put yourself in pole position by following a beautiful skin plan.  This includes cleansing, mild face massage, using the correct day and night moisturisers and even applying a weekly mask for your correct skin type to help draw out any impurities in the skin.  If you have skin that is prone to acne or breakouts, keeping a healthy diet is essential, avoiding oily and fried foods can be beneficial.  On the day itself, I would recommend investing in a professional make-up artist.  Spending approximately £180 on the day for bridal hair and makeup is a reasonable price and this will help you to relax and have a worry-free day.  False eyelashes enhance your eyes and make a huge difference in front of the camera, however don’t forget about your natural lashes too as waterproof mascara is a must have in case of tears!
 

It is common for women to lose weight in the lead up to their big day.  Many women find that this leaves them with a dress less fitted at the front, as their bra size decreases and the dress gapes. Having perfect hair, immaculate make-up and a glowing tan are all quick fixes for making you look fabulous during your wedding.  However, preparation for being a perfect bride can begin much earlier than this!  Keep a healthy diet and exercise regime in the weeks or months in the lead-up; this is sure to make you feel fresh and rejuvenated for the big day, as well as keeping you in shape for your dream dress! The night before the wedding is also crucial, get eight hours of restful sleep. Schedule any rehearsal dinners, bachelorette bashes or celebratory drinks for an earlier date!

Finally, a mixture of nerves and excitement are to be expected on your wedding day - taking a long walk or run first thing in the morning can calm this.  These tips will hopefully all result in a perfect wedding day for the bride.
