Celeb Makeup Artist, Sian Duke shares her Beauty Tips with us.

For my recent shoot with Undercover Glamour I had the pleasure of working with the beautiful model, Hammasa (former Miss England, pic below).  What an absolutely fantastic model and such a beautiful face to work with as she has true natural beauty. Here is a how to guide on recreating the makeup look I created for her.

Hamassa Model Brown Hair Extensions

Skincare - On photoshoots models regularly have their make up put on and taken off so using something delicate on the skin is essential. I begin with Bioderma Sensible H20 to remove any residue and cleanse thoroughly. Followed by Embryolisse to moisturise (a model favourite). It quickly absorbs and again is great for sensitive skins.
Base / Foundation - For a base for camera I often use a Make up forever HD foundation. This was hard to find in the UK for a while but now they have a fab counter with a huge selection of product at Debenhams, Oxford St, London.  I love the finish on the skin as its glowy and light and gives good coverage. I buff it in using a Real techniques face brush working from the centre of the face outward until there is no product remaining on the brush.
Concealer - I used the Bobbi Brown BBU Palette to conceal around the eye area. I generally go toward using a mild colour corrector around the eyes with an undertone of peach to cancel out any grey or blue tones. I always use a soft brush and I love the MAC 217 for this. The BBU Palette is expensive at £200 but it is very popular with MUAs as it has a great mixture of foundations, concealers and colour correctors.

Highlight / Contour -To highlight and contour my go to product for a creamy understated contour is Tom Fords shade and Illuminate palette. Using a fan brush from MAC. A good tip when contouring is to apply a little on the brush and angle your brush from the top of your ear and corner of your mouth. Begin from the hairline and slowly work toward the corner of the mouth stopping halfway.
Powder / Blush / Bronze - To set the base i used MAC Mineralise Skin Finish in Medium plus. I also added a matte bronzer from Chanel working it around the hairline sweeping across the forehead, hugging under the cheekbone and into the jawline and not forgetting a little on the nose. Imitating where the sun would naturally tan the face first.
Eyes - As a base for eyeshadow i used a gel liner from MAC dip down. I work quickly with this and blend upwards and slightly outwards into a soft crescent shaped smoke. Gel liner is fantastic as it will make your make up last much longer and gives your shadows more to stick to…a little like velcro for your eyeshadows. Shadows used were MAC Saddle, Brown Script, Embark and then a pressed pigment on top. Brushes used from Crown brushes a wonderful quality alternative to MAC brushes and the price is on point.
Brows - Anastasia Beverley Hills Pomade is by far one of the best products for brows I've found. You can use a touch of it to shape of make very sleek sharp brows.
Lashes - I curled Hammasa's lashes with lash curlers. I then used Emporio Armanis Eyes to Kill Mascara one of my absolute favourites.
Lips - For lips I used MAC spice lipliner and velvet teddy lipstick. A winning combination.  I was thrilled with the finished look, Hammasa look stunning.
