1920s Inspired Bridal Photoshoot
We are very pleased to announce that our hair extensions, lashes and stick on bras made it into Bride Magazine's 1920s inspired bridal photoshoot. The bridal shoot took place at wedding venue, Hintlesham Hall in Ipswich. The theme was to play on the idea that the bridal models were at a tea party, and it was getting more and more fun as the day went on. Sadie, from Big Fish Photography captured lots of movement and energy, successfully bringing the images to life as shown in the pictures below.
Catherine, our company founder is wearing our Undercover Glamour wedding accessories to complete the bridal look with this stunning Mark Lesley bridal gown, as shown in the pictures above and below. The Mark Lesley bridal gown had a beautiful open back with a delicate beaded back necklace design, which was very fitting with the 1920s bridal theme. The open back and a plunging neckline meant that a normal bra just wouldn't work as the beauty of the dress would be ruined if bra straps were on show.
Catherine wore our Stick on Bra Cups with this dress and they worked perfectly as the bra is 2 individual bra cups (no bra straps), therefore you can still have the support and lift from a bra but without having a bra on show at the front or back of the dress. As there is not a front clasp with this style of stick on bra, this type of bra works perfectly with bridal gowns that have a plunging neckline, or a low front to the dress.
Catherine is also wearing our Deluxe Clip in Hair Extensions in all the Bridal images. Wedding Hair Stylist, Gemma Markham styled Catherine's hair to achieve a loose Hollywood wave. Gemma said, "Catherine's hair is very thin so the clip in hair extensions worked wonders by transforming her hair into long and thick luscious bridal hair." Clip in Hair Extensions are the perfect temporary solution if you wish to transform your hair for your wedding day, and for wedding hair styles that require lots of hair. If you think your hair is too short or too thin for a certain wedding hair style you would like, then this can be solved by adding clip in hair extensions for the day.
Catherine is wearing our Undercover Glamour Deluxe hair in Dark Brunette (colour no.4) and in 18 inches in length. The hair extensions added about 4 inches in length to her own hair and more than double the amount of thickness and volume.
Wedding makeup artist, Lily Thomas loved following the theme of the 1920s for the bridal makeup as it is such an iconic era and the makeup inspired by this decade is fun and glamorous. To bring this glamorous look together, Lily used no.070 lashes by Eylure with a winged eyeliner with soft shimmering eye shadow, and she used a dramatic red and vampy plum lip colour for the true 'Gatsby' 1920s style. Lily says, "by adding lashes to your bridal makeup you can really enhance your look while bringing some glamour to your day."
Catherine also wore our Silicone Stick on Bra Cups with this beautiful 1920s beaded, Adrianna Papell styled wedding dress. This style of wedding dress was quite low at the front so the other fabric stick on bras were coming up a little higher on the bust line than the dress. The Stick on Bra Cups worked perfectly as Catherine was able to place the top part of the cups slightly to the side to keep them from showing with the dress while being able to still wear a bra for coverage and not having to worry about any unflattering nipple poke through or a front clasp showing in the middle of the dress.
Catherine wore our Wedding Stick on Bra with this fairy tale dress by Sincerity Bridal, as shown in the picture above. Our padded Wedding Bra worked really well with this dress as it helped to fill out the top of the dress. Our Stick on Bras are perfect to wear with a Sweetheart styled neckline. It is quite common for brides-to-be to lose weight before their wedding day and this often results in their wedding dress being too loose at the front, this is really where our range of padded stick on bras and breast enhancers come to the rescue!
