Beautiful Half-up, Half-down Bridesmaid Hair Style Idea for Long Hair

Last summer, I had the joy of seeing my best friend get married and be a part of her wedding as I was honoured to be her maid of honour. Antonia (the bride), in the picture below, chose a stunning half-up half-down hairstyle for her bridesmaids. The half-up half-down hairstyle is perfect for those with long hair as the hair style pulls the hair up at the top, keeping it out of your face and therefore keeping your hair looking neat for the wedding photos.
My half-up half-down bridesmaid hair style held all day, so thank you very much to Kathryn from Doll Creative for the first-class styling. Kathryn was the bridal makeup artist for Antonia's big day, and she is responsible for all of the looks above. Kathryn created my hair style by adding a natural wave to my own hair and also to the hair extensions. Pro tip: It is always easier to style clip in hair extensions before clipping them into your own hair. Kathryn then sectioned the top part of my hair to create a pretty half updo, by twisting my hair at the back to keep it looking natural and by using a diamonte clip to hold the style in place.
If your hair is very fine, like my hair, you may find that the half-up half-down style will leave your hair looking even less substantial at the ends. If you have this issue then you can simply add clip in hair extensions to create beautiful thick, full looking hair, as in the pictures above. Our clip in hair extensions are available in 12 inches to 24 inches in length so if you wish to make your hair longer to achieve a certain look, all you need to do is clip in and Voila!
