5 years ago we just offered the stick on bras in A to D cup. Due to customer demand we quickly produced the DD cup and these flew off the shelves. We listened to our customers requesting bigger sizes and therefore produced the E cup stick on bra, followed by the F cup, and then recently we produced the FF cup.
The FF cup stick on bra is finally here and is available to purchase from us.
I am certain the FF cup adhesive bra will become our best seller due to the growing demand for bigger sized bras.
Average Bra Size:
It is reported that the average UK Bra size is a 36D. We reported this from 2010. Since then, there are other reports to say it is a 34DD. A 36D and 34DD are sister sizes, sharing the same cup size volume, and if you were this size you would purchase our E cup stick on bra, see the chart below. If you are a full/ large 34DD or sometimes a 34E 36D we would recommend getting our F cup.
Stick on Bra Sizing Advice:
As the stick on bras do not have a back, please consider sister sizes when purchasing (see table below for details). If you are a small 32 back size we would recommend selecting your normal cup size, however, if you are a full 32 cup size we would recommend going up a size (especially in the larger sizes due to vanity sizing). Therefore, if you were a small 32F you would choose the F cup size. If you are were full 32F or small 34F we would recommend that you choose the FF cup.
We offer the following stick on bra sizes; A cup, B cup, C cup, D cup, DD cup, E cup, F cup and now the FF cup. And now also the G cup stick on bra (as the article has been updated)!
What are Sister Sizes?
Bra cup size is relative to the band size. This means that when a bra's band size is increasing for a particular cup size, the cup volume is also increasing. For example, a 36E cup has a bigger cup volume than a 34E and a 34E has a bigger cup size volume than a 32E and so on.
And when a bra's band size is decreasing for a particular cup size, the cup volume is also decreasing. Because of this, other bra cup sizes can have about the same volume, in relation to band size. Bra sizes with about the same cup volume are labeled with different cup sizes - are called "bra sister sizes". Confusing?! What this means it that the cup size volume of a 32C is actually about the same cup size volume as a 34B and a 36A, see the chart below for more details.
Sister Bra Sizing Chart:
To determine which bra size you will need, choose your band size and cup size from the 1st row and 1st column of the UK Size Guide table. The result you receive is the size of the Undercover Glamour Stick on Bra that you should select. The second table shows the measurements of our bra cups. If you are concerned that they may not be large enough, or that they may be too small, then you can grab your tape measure and get a rough idea of the size of the bras. Customer Feedback:
As mentioned our bras are on the smaller side, and we always recommend going up a size if you are hovering between two sizes. We never receive feedback saying that the smaller stick on bra sizes are too small i.e., A cup through to D cup (if the customer has followed the chart above). However, we do occasionally receive feedback saying the larger cup sizes are too small, especially for the F cup. We believe this is due to vanity sizing and customer choosing a size they prefer the sound of. This may sound strange, but I believe I also do this! I buy a 34B bra but I am actually only a 34A but I much prefer being a B cup and I can get away with the B cup and it is comfy! Some woman with smaller busts will be more inclined to wear a size up because like me they feel better thinking they are a B cup than an A cup. Some woman with larger busts may think they are smaller than they actually are. Therefore, we believe that this explains why more women find our F cup too small. Please keep this in mind, refer to our charts and if you are a really full 32F then buy the FF cup.
What do you mean by Vanity Sizing?
Vanity sizing means when a manufacturer changes the sizing scale of the pattern to make an original size bigger to make woman feel better about themselves that they can actually purchase a smaller size. According to http://en.wikipedia.org Vanity sizing, "also known as size inflation refers to the phenomenon of ready-to-wear clothing of the same nominal size becoming bigger in physical size over time."
Just to confirm we have not changed our bra size scale to fit with vanity sizing. Therefore, our F cup stick on bra is really a match with M&S 34E cup bra in terms of cup size, as in the pic below.
